The Google Doodle

June 10, 2013

I know, I know, 2 posts in one day is unexpected.  But I wanted to share both ideas and both were very timely.

I’m not sure if you notice that Google’s main pages changes.  I don’t know if it changes daily, maybe someone else does, but I know it changes frequently.  How the word Google appears and the images associated with it, is referred to as the “google doodle”.

Today’s google doodle is in honour of Maurice Sendak, the children’s author best known for his book “where the wild things are” (see article).  June 10, today, would have been his birthday.  So check out the google home page today and if you missed it – sorry.  In the future, take note of the google doodle and see if you can figure out what it is referring to.
