politics, morals, & drinking

November 13, 2013

Tonight I heard a Canadian singer/songwriter speaking about why he thinks writing songs with his band-mate has been so successful over the years.  He felt that writing lyrics together went well because they had similar views on “politics, morals, & drinking”.  While it may appear at first glance that this is a short and somewhat random list; perhaps he was on to something.  Maybe it’s exactly the list of things we should consider when thinking about partnerships, friendships, and relationships .  Similar views on politics, morals and drinking really does cover a lot of life’s issues, circumstances, and opportunities for disagreement.  I love when off-the-cuff comments ring with such truth.

Sky Report closer to lunch time – I’m not sure I looked at exactly 10:00, but by closer to lunch time I commented about how sunny it was out the window of the training room in Orillia.
