International Women’s Day

March 8, 2014

March 8th is International Women’s Day.  Unlike some other holidays, I’m not aware that there are any official or unofficial practices and traditions associated with celebrating International Women’s Day.  But rather than see that as a limitation, see is as the opportunity to whatever you would like to acknowledge this day.  Plan a special activity, go out for dinner, put flowers on the kitchen table, spend the day watching Downton Abbey (or any other show you want), call or text the important women in your life, tell someone a story about an amazing woman you know, … the options are endless.

I’d love to hear about whatever you decide to do.  And if you get a minute, check out the google doodle today, you need to click arrow in the circle to make it play, it’s a great celebration of International Women’s Day.

I got a little tipsy and watched some ladies flash their husbands, and then I stole some stuff… Isn’t that how everyone celebrates?
