Go for a walk

The best time is when you don’t feel like it.

Going for a walk when you don’t feel like it will change your mood, transform your posture and get you moving.

And if you don’t feel like talking with someone, bring them with you on the walk.

I didn’t write the content above, I wish I could say I did.  That said there are several times in the past couple of day that I might have benefited from heeding this wisdom.  It’s easy to be frustrated and tired and annoyed by things and people, but seldom does it help to express those feelings when we are feeling them most strongly. It is far better to take a break, go for a walk, and determine the best response for the situation.  Maybe if the weather had been just a little bit warmer, going for a walk would have been my first response as well. The take home message is “going for a walk is always a good idea”.  Give it a try.
